How to reinute the Koroks in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will need to help reunite two Korok friends that have been separated. We’ll show you how to do that and the rewards.
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll happen upon several Korok challenges across Hyrule and the skies above. While some of these follow the same pattern as they did in Breath of the Wild, others require a helping hand.
Here, we’ll be breaking down how to help the Korok reunite with his friend in the game and the rewards you’ll get for doing so!
Where is the Korok’s friend in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
In the opening hours of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll be exploring the Great Sky Island. A lofty expanse high above Hyrule. As you do, you’ll come across a Korok with quite a hefty backpack.
The backpack is so large, however, that he is stuck on the rock like an upside-down tortoise. When you talk to him, he’ll explain that he has been separated from his friend.
To find the Korok’s friend, look out for the smoke signal on the next island across from him. Thankfully, he isn’t too far.

How to reunite the Koroks in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
After speaking with the Korok, you will notice that there is a rail nearby that conveniently leads to the island where his friend is located. The question is… how do you get there?
It is time to put that new Ultrahand of yours to good use. Around where the overturned Korok is, you’ll see several discarded logs and hooks.
You’ll need to use the Ultrahand to lift these large logs and stick them together with the A button to make a platform. If you need more logs, there are also some trees nearby that you can cut down.
Next, use one (or two if you’re feeling creative) of the hooks and rotate them until they can be attached to the top of your log platform.
You’re going to be hooking it on the rail, but before you do, you need to collect your passenger. Lift the Korok using and attach him to the platform so he doesn’t fall off.
Finally, with everything attached, hook the platform with the Korok onto the rail. It will start to move, so hop on with them and ride it down to the Korok’s friend’s island. When you’ve stopped, lift the overturned Korok over to his friend and the task is complete.
