How do you use the Weapons Bay in Armored Core 6?
Some of the systems aren’t very well explained in Armored Core 6, and they can often leave you to fend for yourself in the game. The Weapons Bay is first and foremost something that you purchase. This is called an OST chip. These are things that you purchase in order to upgrade your AC.
The Weapons Bay also allows you to upgrade your shoulder weapons into extra handguns if you want to, which, depending on what enemies or bosses you are fighting, can be incredibly useful.
The Weapons Bay is a part of your garage, and here you can change the weapons that you use, and decide whether they are right for your mech. As you are changing your weapons, you want to make sure that you are keeping an eye on how much your mech weighs, as you don’t want to make yourself overburdened. When you are in the weapons menu, you’ll then be able to add handguns as shoulder weapons.
