Warzone is now available on mobile devices as its own separate version, but if you're like me and hate touchscreen controls for first-person games, you'll be wondering if controller support is available.
The game is pretty much the CoD Warzone experience you'd expect, but with the extra advantage that you can take it on the go with you. Learn if this also includes a physical controller below.
Does Warzone Mobile have controller support?
Warzone Mobile does have controller support, allowing you to play with Xbox and PlayStation controllers that feature Bluetooth support.
You can also use snap-in controllers that connect to your phone physically, like the ones made by Backbone, who have teamed up with Activision to make an exclusive controller for the release.
How to connect a controller
If you're looking to set up one of your Bluetooth controllers, the process is simple enough and can be done with just a few steps:
- Enable pairing on your controller by holding the button next to the USB port
- Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device through the settings
- Make sure your controller is turned on
- Load up Warzone Mobile
- Press a button on the controller until the 'Controller Connected' message appears
Now you can use your controller freely to play the game, though I recommend double-checking the settings menu for the exact controls and changing any that don't suit you.

While you can use any controller that has Bluetooth capabilities, Activision recommends the following:
- Backbone One
- Xbox Wireless Controller
- Xbox Elite Wireless Controller
