How to find Strongholds in Warzone 2
Warzone 2's Stronghold locations change with every game, but where can they be?
The best way to get the ball rolling in a game of Warzone 2 is to get your hands on whatever any of the Stronghold locations have to offer. The AI-controlled stations are full to the brim with cash, weapons, armour plates, and even loadout weapons. But, where do they spawn? Here's all you need to know about the Warzone 2 Stonghold locations and how to find them.
Where does Strongholds spawn in Warzone 2?
Strongholds are somewhat similar to Buy Stations in Warzone 2 in the fact that there are many positions in which they can be, but only a limited number spawn per game.
In fact, there are 77 possible Stronghold locations in Al Mazrah, but only five will spawn in one game.
Which five Stronghold spawn in one game is randomised, there is no pattern in which they do appear, but there is seldom two in the same POI.
The randomly generated Stronghold locations aren't revealed until the end of the first circle collapse in Warzone 2. This is in contrast to DMZ, where they are open from the start.
Where are the Strongholds in Warzone 2?
The 77 Warzone 2 Stronghold locations are spread out evenly across Al Mazrah, most of them spawning in major POIs, and all of them being within pre-existing buildings.
All 77 Warzone 2 Stronghold locations can be found below:
Despite the Stronghold locations being random, there is a good probability of at least one Stronghold being in the more densely populated areas, meaning you could hedge your bets and land in these areas in the hope of only having a short trip.
POIs like Al Mazrah City Ahkdar Village boast the most chance of hosting a Stronghold, while Observatory could also prove useful given that you also have Sa'id City and Hydroelectric within gliding distance.
These Warzone 2 Stronghold locations are also the same in DMZ, so make sure you get familiar with them if you want to have the best chance of success in your battle royale games.
