Where Are The Artifacts for The Last of Us Part 1 The Outskirts Collectibles?

As soon as the chapter starts, you’re in an apartment as Joel wakes up. On the table next to the couch where Joel laid his head, you’ll see an artifact called Tess’ List beside a flashlight.

After riding down an elevator and Tess asks if Ellie is a daughter of a bigwig, you’ll find the second artifact on the level to the left of two big blue canisters and right of a wooden plank. You’ve found a Patrol Routes Map.

You’ll discover the third artifact on the rainy streets after you find out that Ellie may be a heavy clue to a cure for the infection. Get up to the main street after heading up the broken bridge. On the right, you’ll see a crashed blue car that hit a lamppost. Directly in front of the car’s hood is the Evacuation Leaflet.

Very soon after finding the first Firefly Pendant owned by Joseph Lenz, you’ll come across a building with a staircase. Tess says that a body that welcomes you into the office block has been ripped apart and that it’s fresh. Go up the first flight of stairs, and you’ll see the bloody corpse of a soldier. Pick up the artifact to the right of them. You now have the Field Ops Log that unfortunately ends with this soldier’s death.

After finding your way through the almost collapsed building, you’ll be in a subway area down below. From a pool of water, go forwards and turn right. You’ll see a staircase with debris covering the path upwards. On the right side after a few steps, you’ll see a dead firefly. It’s hidden in sight behind a subway map. You can pick up the Firefly Map next to the corpse.

A few mere minutes later, you can find the next artifact after Tess tells Joel and Ellie to stay sharp. You’ll need to make your way through a few nasty clickers though. Before going forward, pick up a shiv to the left of you inside a lower blue locker. Next, let the first clicker through as it moves to the right.

Go to the left-hand side, moving slowly by pressing the circle button. There is a human that’s infected on the ground. Grab them and choke them out. After that, proceed to the left and into the abandoned shop. Go to the sales counter and underneath the till, you’ll see some drawers you can pull out a Note to Derek as the next artifact.

The medical pamphlet artifact can be found inside of a former seafood storage box. Push the crate to get over to the other side and after you’ve jumped, completely turn 180 degrees. You’ll see you can actually go into the seafood container. You’ll find the medical pamphlet inside.

As day sets forth, Joel and Ellie observe a great view of the city. However, it’s back to work shortly after. Go down the metal staircase soon after this cutscene and turn around to find a dead and bloody body around the corner. An artifact is right beside his hand. It’s called the Firefly Orders.

You arrive in the subway and after beating a bunch of soldiers, you’ll be swimming. When you hear that Ellie can’t swim for the second time and you see a collapsed tank, you’re in the right place for the next artifact. Go underwater and swim to the other side. Ellie will follow you through an alternate route. She stops at the end of the path and turns on a flashlight that still works. Where she’s standing, go to the skeleton next to her and pick up the smuggler’s note on the ground.

Where Are The Firefly Pendants for The Last of Us Part 1 The Outskirts Collectibles?

The first Firefly Pendant can be found after observing the big drop below. Go through a broken brick way passage and turn right. You’ll see a view of Boston and the steel wall that hangs around it. Look at the tree that is obscuring the view, which has a bench under it. On a right branch, you’ll see a blue flicker of the firefly pendant. Shoot it down. When you flip it after picking it up, you’ll realize it’s owned by Joseph Lenz.

Much later on, you’ll find yourself in a museum with some art stashed away in the back. Go up a wooden ramp and jump towards the window. Slide your way down a narrow path towards a glass case. Once you’re close enough to it, press triangle to pick up Kiper’s Firefly Pendant. It may be a different key for PC players, however.

The penultimate pendant of the chapter can be found within a pond. On the left, you’ll see some Greek-inspired architecture. Go inside and in the middle, you’ll find Melinda Davidson’s firefly pendant.

Finally, the last pendant is left of where the smuggler’s note can be found. Go underwater and turn on your flashlight. Move to the left side and you’ll notice a mechanic shop. Turn left again and you’ll find Jiang’s firefly pendant on a shelf.
