What is a Logic Probe in System Shock: How to use
Logic Probes are essentially an auto-solve of any Junction Box Puzzle you enter them into. If there's a particularly difficult puzzle you can't figure out, a Logic Probe can be a great solution to get you through.
The probes are rare however and are a one-time use, so use them wisely.
To use a Logic Probe simply look at the empty Logic Port space designed to contain it and click to interact. This is usually located to the left of the wires.
Once you've clicked on the port you won't be able to retrieve the probe.
