How to get Fighter Coins & where to use them in Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter 6 features Fighter Coins, a premium currency that players can use to purchase many cosmetic items and other boosts.
As a modern game, the inclusion of a microtransaction store in Street Fighter 6 is likely not a surprise to many - with titles like Diablo 4 and even Disney Dreamlight Valley featuring their own form of premium currency.
Fighter Coins are what you use for the game's microtransactions, and their use can be a bit confusing at first - so here is everything you need to know about Fighter Coins in the game.
How to get Fighter Coins
Fighter Coins can be earned, but for the most part, you will need to spend real money in order to acquire them. They are available to be purchased in the following amounts:
Fighter Coins | Price |
210 Fighter Coins | $4.99/£3.99/€4.99 |
610 Fighter Coins | $11.99/£9.49/€11.99 |
1,250 Fighter Coins | $23.99/£18.99/€23.99 |
2,750 Fighter Coins | $49.99/£39.99/€49.99 |
In order to "earn" Fighter Coins, you will need to spend some and buy the Fighter Pass. Another modern gaming feature that appears in Street Fighter 6 is a season pass called the Fighter Pass.
You gain progress as you play the game, and unlock items on a free and premium track. Towards the end of the premium track, you can receive a handful of Fighter Coins.
How to use Fighter Coins in Street Fighter 6
Fighter Coins are one of two currencies in Street Fighter 6. The other is called Drive Tickets, which are freely acquired from completing challenges. Most items in the Goods Shop can be purchased with either currency, albeit for a much higher amount of Drive Tickets.
Some items, such as new outfits or additional slots for character recipes, can only be purchased with Fighter Coins.
Each item in the store will display its cost in both currencies when applicable, so you can decide which one you wish to use to purchase the item.
