How to unlock Nano Suit outfit crafting in Stellar Blade
This guide will tell you exactly how to start crafting new Nano Suit outfits in Stellar Blade, so you can try out new looks for EVE using the Repair Console.
Shortly after you find the first Supply Camp in Stellar Blade, you're told that you can use the Repair Console to craft Nano Suits. However, you'll need to carry out an extra step first before you can do this.
Since I was completely befuddled myself, I've not rested until it's become clear just how you can get new outfits for the new 7th Airborne Squad Member.
How to unlock Nano Suit outfit crafting
In Stellar Blade, you'll unlock new outfits by crafting new Nano Suits once you find your first "Design Pattern" - essentially the game's name for crafting recipes of these particular cosmetics.
Once you do this, you'll be met with the Nano Suit tutorial saying you can use Design Patterns and collected materials to craft these new outfits that'll affect EVE's appearance.
The next time you use the Repair Console at a Supply Camp, you'll be notified that the "Nano Suit" feature has been unlocked and you can now use Materials to unlock new outfits whenever you obtain a new design.
The first new Nano Suit outfits in Stellar Blade
The earliest new Nano Suit outfit you can craft this way in Stellar Blade is the above Planet Diving Suit (7th) V2 Design Pattern, which can be found almost immediately after riding the Monorail once you restore power. After this is completed, go into the room below, right before you enter the Flooded Commercial Sector about two hours into the game.
If you've missed this one, the next outfit you can get is the already-crafted Stargazer Suit once you reach the city of Xion, but only if you pre-ordered the digital deluxe edition
Alternatively, you can buy the Design Patterns for the following Nano Suits from Roxanne, the merchant by the city's Bulletin Board:
- Planet Diving Suit (2nd)
- Orca Exploration Suit
- Keyhole Dress
- Cybernetic Dress
- Moultan Peony
To make these available for purchase, you'll need to buy enough products from Roxanne to boost your relationship with her. "Lv 2/3" is required for the first two listed above, and then "Lv 3/3" for the final three.
