The Starfield Special Editions are arriving soon for anyone who is excited about the next role-playing game (RPG) from Bethesda. We are going to take a look at what is in each edition of the game, so you can choose which one is best for you.

Starfield is the first single-player RPG from Bethesda since Fallout 4, so the anticipation is through the roof for this next adventure as we will finally be able to take a tried and tested formula to space.

Every edition of Starfield includes some extras for fans to enjoy. In addition, there is also an upgrade available to purchase in case you’re playing through the game using Xbox Game Pass, but still want some of the extras. Here is everything you need to know about each special edition of Starfield when it releases later this year.

What is the Starfield pre-order bonus?

A ship in Starfield

Regardless of what edition of Starfield you buy, you will be entitled to a pre-order bonus for the game. The pre-order bonus is the Old Mars skin set that offers skins for the Laser Cutter, the Deep Mining Helmet, and the Deep Mining Pack. This pack is also included with the Xbox Game Pass version of the game.

What’s included in the Starfield Standard Edition?

The Xbox version of the Standard Edition, if bought physically, will come with a disc as well. However, the PC version will just include a code in the box.

What’s included in the Starfield Premium Edition?

The Premium Edition of Starfield offers a range of physical and digital extras for fans to enjoy, as well as a copy of the game. You will also be able to play the game up to five days early with this edition, so you can launch off into space before anyone else.

If you’re playing Starfield via Xbox Game Pass, you can upgrade to the Premium Edition so you can access the five days early access. Here is everything else included in the Premium Edition:

  • Steelbook Display Case (only physical version)
