Where to get a Mystery Box in Stardew Valley & all rewards
Here's where to get a Mystery Box in Stardew Valley following the 1.6 update, as well as a list of all the different rewards you can potentially get in one.
If you're wondering how to get your hands on a Mystery Box in Stardew Valley, I've got you covered.
These curious boxes can gift you all kinds of rewards just for opening them. However, it's not always obvious where to find them in the game.
Below, you'll find all the potential locations for the Mystery Boxes and everything that could await you inside them after update 1.6.
Where to find Mystery Boxes in Stardew Valley
Mystery Boxes can appear in numerous places after they've been unlocked. You'll know they've been unlocked because you'll get a cutscene with Mr Qi, and you'll be notified that they've been unlocked in the game. It might take multiple weeks to trigger this cutscene.
From that point on, you can find these boxes in the following places:
- Fishing Treasure Chests
- Artifact Spots
- Mining
- Trout Derby festival reward
- SquidFest festival reward
Once obtained, you can open a Mystery Box at the Blacksmith for 25 gold to find out what's inside. You can even get rarer gold versions of the boxes, but these will be much harder to come by.
