Nixxes Software and Insomniac Games has outlined all of the PC features you can expect in Marvel’s Spider-Man through the PlayStation Blog and Steam.

First up is some stunning ray tracing visuals. Ray-traced reflections can be turned on to create realistic lighting effects amongst the water and infrastructure of New York City. There’s also going to be an all-new “higher-quality ray-traced mode” that according to PlayStation, “offers even more city detail when web-swinging and fighting crime.”

If you have a GeForce RTX GPU, you’ll be able to utilize NVIDIA DLSS with Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. This means that you can boost frame rates even higher with “uncompromised image quality” as you use the Tensor Core AI processors. You can also get higher image quality by utilizing NVIDIA’s DLAA, which is an AI-utilized option that anti-aliases to the finest degree.

If you somehow have three monitors, you’re going to be in bliss with Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered’s world. The game will feature a massive 48:9 output resolution, in addition to ultrawide 21:9. You can also play Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered in 16:9, 16:10, and 32:9. Nixxes seems to have put out all the stops to make this game look beautiful on your PC.

In addition, there will be more rendering systems than the PS5 ever had. There will be SSAO, texture filtering, LoD quality, and shadow quality options. There are more quality levels and algorithmic options as well. Nixxes and Insomniac say there are even more options but haven’t revealed them yet.

Like many other triple-A titles from PlayStation and other big studios on PC, there will be windowed, full screen, and exclusive full screen options as well.

Despite all of these positives, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will still have the new, younger-looking model of Peter Parker that has been critiqued by many.
