In the original Resident Evil 4 release, there was a canon campaign released called Separate Ways. This allowed players to experience Ada Wong's part of the story during the events of Resident Evil 4. Now, players are questioning whether Separate Ways will be included in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Keep reading our guide as we answer the question: "does Resident Evil 4 Remake have Ada Wong's Separate Ways campaign?".

Does Resident Evil 4 Remake have Ada Wong's Separate Ways campaign?

When writing this guide, Resident Evil 4 Remake doesn't offer Ada Wong's Separate Ways campaign like the original game did. Instead, when you complete the game, you are rewarded with a set of cosmetics for Leon and Ashley and a new difficulty level.

In Resident Evil 4 2005, you unlock a myriad of rewards including new game modes like Separate Ways, Assignment: Ada, and The Mercenaries once you complete the main story.

That doesn't mean we won't be getting the Separate Ways campaign at all, though. According to leaker and known insider Dusk Golem, Ada Wong's Separate Ways campaign will release as a separate DLC with more fleshed-out content than the original.

In a Reset Era thread, Dusk Golem replied to a user answering comments on whether Separate Ways will be in Resident Evil 4 Remake. He said, "Yup, Separate Ways is down the line DLC. It'll be longer and more fleshed out than the original Separate Ways."

Capcom has yet to acknowledge the existence of the Separate Ways campaign, though it doesn't feel far-fetched. Also, while there are little inconsistencies, Dusk Golem has been a reliable insider for many of their claims.

That aside, they also claim that Capcom has already planned out a series of content and other updates for Resident Evil 4 Remake as "a bigger floor plan as part of their development cycle." This includes Separate Ways DLC, The Mercenaries game mode, and PSVR2 support.

As we mentioned earlier, everything Dusk Golem claimed is not too far-fetched given that Resident Evil Village had no planned DLC. However, after the game was released to excellent critical reception and commercial success, we soon got the Shadows of Rose DLC along with PSVR support.

In any case, we will update the article if there is any official news related to Ada Wong's Separate Ways campaign.
