Rainbow Six Siege just keeps growing its roster of Operators, and Operation Commanding Force kicks off Year 8 with a new character, Brava.

Brava's gadget has a lot of potential for big IQ plays, but she's also equipped with two great weapon choices and additional gadgets, too.

Here's everything you need to know about the Brava in the game's latest update, Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Commanding Force, including her counters.

Rainbow Six Siege: Who Is Brava?

Brava is Rainbow Six Siege's latest addition and joins the in-game Viperstrike faction as an Attacker.

She is Brazilian, and an expert in advanced technologies, designed with a minimal set of gear that helps her stay mobile.

To that end, she's a three-speed, one-health Operator.

Rainbow Six Siege Brava Weapons & Gadgets

Brava's loadout in Rainbow Six Siege is as follows:

  • Primary weapon: Para 308 Assault Rifle or CAMRS DMR
  • Secondary weapon: Super shorty shotgun or semi-automatic pistol
  • Generic gadgets: Claymore mine or smoke grenade

While the Claymore is ideal for protecting Brava when she's using the Kludge Drone, the Smoke Grenade will obscure the drone's vision.

Rainbow Six Siege Brava Counters

Brava has a few counters that can make it difficult to use the Kludge drone. One of those is Solis, who can spot the drone and take it out before it can do any damage. Vigil is also able to hide from the drone with his ability set.

Perhaps the most fun interaction is between Mozzie's Pest Launcher and the Kludge, with the Pest able to capture the drone and use it to take out Attacker gadgets. Still, it can be re-captured by Brava again, making for a real battle of wits.

Rainbow Six Siege Brava Tips

In our time with Brava in a pre-release play session, we found the best way to use her Kludge drone is to distract enemies from hearing it with gunfire or explosions so it can roll in and identify Defender gadgets to turn.

Plenty of Defender gadgets just need to be set and left, and these are ideal as opposition players aren't always monitoring them. With that in mind, try and hack traps like Kapkan's door and window entry explosives to help surprise Defenders.

Finally, you can use the Kludge to remove electrified reinforcements, hack Aruni's Surya Gate, and plenty more. Consider sending it in earlier to remove obstacles that would otherwise prevent a hard breach.

That's all we know about Brava in Operation Commanding Force of Rainbow Six Siege. For more, check out our Year 8 roadmap guide and our developer interview about the next ten years of Siege.
