Pokemon UNITE tier list, all fighters ranked from best to worst in 2024
If you need to know which of Pokemon UNITE's fighters are best, our tier list ranks each pocket monster in the game and covers the top pick in the current meta.
If you want to find out which fighters reign supreme in Pokemon UNITE, this tier list for 2024 covers all the characters ranked from best to worst, so you know who currently shines in the meta.
Pokemon UNITE has grown massively since it launched, as it now has more than 60 characters for players to choose from. With so many pocket monsters in the game, it can be hard to know which one is best.
Luckily, there's a clear meta that shifts around with updates just like Ditto - so here's a breakdown of which Pokemon to play as and which ones to send back into their Poke Ball.
Pokemon UNITE tier list for May 2024
Tier | Pokemon |
S | Blastoise, Blissey, Falinks, Inteleon, Leafeon, Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, Mimikyu, Miraidon, Slowbro, Umbreon, Zacian |
A | Alolan Ninetales, Buzzwole, Clefable, Chandelure, Dodrio, Dragapult, Eldegoss, Espeon, Glaceon, Hoopa, Meowscarada, Metagross, Mew, Sylveon, Trevenant, Urshifu, Venusaur, Zoroark |
B | Absol, Aegislash, Blaziken, Cinderace, Comfey, Crustle, Decidueye, Delphox, Dragonite, Gardevoir, Goodra, Gyarados, Lapras, Mr. Mime, Pikachu, Sableye, Scizor, Scyther, Snorlax, Sylveon, Wigglytuff, Zeraora |
C | Azumarill, Charizard, Cramorant, Garchomp, Gengar, Greninja, Lucario, Machamp, Talonflame, Tsareena, Tyranitar |
D | Duraladon, Greedent, Mamoswine |
It's worth noting that just because a Pokemon is rated lower on this list, it doesn't mean they aren't viable. It simply means there are better (and easier) options to make the most of.
This tier list is just a recommendation and not everyone is going to agree with it. Ultimately, you should play as the Pokemon that you feel most comfortable with - or the one that's your favourite!
What is the best Pokemon in UNITE?
While recent additions like Gyarados, Meowscarada, and Metagross have made waves on their arrival, my pick for the best Pokemon in UNITE remains the one and only Blissey who thrives as a Supporter.
Ranking at the tippy top of the game's meta for some time, the Happiness Pokemon is the best support you can currently play, boasting massive HP that allows it to tank damage. What's more, it also possesses the ability to help allies with healing and buffs.
Its stat spread and tankiness make it a perfect counter to burst damage Pokemon, who are highly regarded in the meta currently.
Blissey is also super simple to learn and play, and as long as you're around your allies, supporting them with your abilities, you can provide a massive advantage to your team.
If you're not a fan of playing a Supporter role in Pokemon UNITE, I'd recommend trying out Miraidon as an Attacker, Absol as a Speedster, Zacian as an All-Rounder, or Slowbro as a Defender.
The addition of EX Pokemon to the game has really shaken things up, as they all make an excellent addition to any team. Miraidon and Zacian in particular have risen to the top ranks, but both versions of Mega Mewtwo are incredibly powerful too.
Which Pokemon is coming next?
The next Pokemon likely scheduled to join the roster is the Fighting-type creature Ceruledge, as the 'mon was shared as part of a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) for Pokemon Day. No launch date for this has been revealed for them yet, but as soon as details are clear on that, this section will be updated with all the latest.
