How to get Popplio in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC
If you want to add Popplio or its evolutions Brionne and Primarina to your collection, we've got their locations in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC.
Popplio, Brionne, and Primarina are all available to encounter in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC, so here's everything you need to know to find and evolve them.
Whether it's blowing balloons through its nose or performing tricks, Popplio is a charming Water-type Pokemon that any Trainer would be lucky to have by their side in the game. It was first available in Pokemon Sun & Moon's Alola region, and now you can catch it in The Indigo Disk's terrarium!
Where to find Popplio in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Popplio can be found on the beaches in the Coastal Biome, but before you can encounter it you'll need to donate 3,000 BP to the Terarium Club so they can "boost the biodiversity in the Coastal Biome".
Doing this will increase the range of Pokemon you can encounter in this area, including other starters like Grookey and Bulbasaur. You can donate BP to the Terarium Club using the computer in the League Club Room.
Not got enough BP? You'll need to go out and complete Battle Quests. You can access these by pressing the right button on the D-pad. It will take quite a while to gather 3,000 BP so be prepared to grind these quests!
Once you've donated BP to expand the Coastal Biome, you'll find Popplio along the various beaches to the eastern side of this biome. I found plenty of them all over, so it seems they're a fairly common spawn.
How to evolve Popplio into Brionne
Popplio will evolve into Brionne once it hits Level 17. You don't need to use any special items or fulfil any tasks, it will do this automatically once it levels up.
If you've caught a Popplio that's higher than this level (which is very likely), then you'll simply need to raise it by one more level and it will evolve right away.
How to evolve Brionne into Primarina
Evolving Brionne into Primarina is relatively simple, as you just need to raise it until it reaches Level 34.
Just like the last step, if you have a Brionne that's already above this level, just raise it by one extra level and it will evolve automatically.
That's everything you need to know about Brionne! Make sure you visit our Pokemon Scarlet & Violet homepage for more guides like the latest Mystery Gift codes or the upcoming Tera Raid events.
