How to unlock weapons in PAYDAY 3

To unlock more weapons in PAYDAY 3, you’re going to need to complete heists and level up fast to get your hands on a wider selection. You can then buy them from the Arms Dealer.

When you first start playing PAYDAY 3, you will have two default weapons. However, the more you play and increase your levels, the more you will unlock.

A selection of Pre-set Weapons you can unlock in PAYDAY 3

There is a vast assortment of weapons in PAYDAY 3 that fall into three categories:

  • Standard Weapons
  • Preset Weapons
  • Overkill Weapons

Your Standard Weapons in PAYDAY 3 will make up the bulk of your loadout and can be customised with sights, barrels, silencers and more. They can be bought with cash.

Preset Weapons are a selection of the same standard weapons, with the modifications to them already done and cannot be changed. They can only be bought with C-Stacks.

The Overkill Weapons are special weapons that can only be used for a limited amount of time in a heist, and only when certain requirements are met. However, they are incredibly powerful.

Below, we’ve listed all the weapons that will make up your arsenal in PAYDAY 3, their type and the level they unlock.
