Palworld minimum & recommended system requirements for PC
Here's everything you need to know about the minimum and recommended system requirements for your PC to run the upcoming survival game Palworld.
If you’re excited about the upcoming release of Palword, and you’re planning on playing the game on your PC, you’re going to need to know the minimum and recommended system requirements.
There are few things worse than downloading a game, being all excited to get going, maybe getting a takeaway or some snacks in, strapping in to play and not being able to load the game. So to avoid that with this game, we've gone over everything you need to know about the Palworld system requirements below.
Palworld system requirements for PC
Minimum requirements:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 or later (64-Bit)
- Processor: i5-3570K 3.4 GHz 4 Core
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 40 GB available space
- Additional Notes: An Internet connection is required for multiplayer. SSD required.
Recommended requirements:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 or later (64-Bit)
- Processor: i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8 Core
- Memory: 32 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce RTX 2070
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 40 GB available space
- Additional Notes: An Internet connection is required for multiplayer. SSD required.
For the minimum specs, it's not too bad, as the i5-3570K CPU and GTX 1050 (2GB) GPU are both old and were on the lower end when they first released - but you will need 16GB RAM as a minimum which is a little surprising.
For the recommended specs things do ramp up a little bit. While the i9-9900K CPU is more than a couple of generations old, it is still hefty in terms of core-count and clock speed, and the RTX 2070 is just below the mid-range when it comes to GPUs. 32GB of RAM as a recommendation is quite high, but overall you're looking at around a midrange PC build to be able to meet the recommended specs.
We don't know what these specs will give you performance-wise, but the disparity between them seems to indicate that the minimum won't get you much more than the game running, whereas the recommended might be for 1080p/60fps - although this is still unconfirmed.
That's all you need to know about the Palworld system requirements. If you can’t wait to catch some monsters, then check out the rest of our guides on our Palworld homepage.
