How to open the Old Trunk in WoW: Dragonflight

If you are traversing the latest patch in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, you may have found some of the secret treasures that are scattered around the new zone. One of these is the Old Trunk.
This chest can’t be opened straight away, and you'll need to solve the puzzle of how to open it. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about how to open the secret treasure in WoW: Dragonflight.
How do you open the Old Trunk?
Similar to the Dreamer’s Bounty, you have to take special steps in order to open it. This trunk is found in the southern part of Zaralek Cavern in Glimmerogg. You can find it at 43.12, 82.57.
In order to open the chest, you need to find the Thieving Rock Mouse. They are hiding in the vicinity, but there are a couple of hiding places where they could be. To get the key, you have to find the Thieving Rock Mouse five different times.
The best way to find this mouse is to use a coordinates add-on. However, if you don’t have it, you can use a macro that allows you to target it instead. If you don’t have the add-on, you can use /target Thieving Rock Mouse to find them as you walk around to try and find them in the game.
Here are all of the coordinates you need to find the Mouse five times throughout the cave.
- Mouse 1: 42.67, 82.46
- Mouse 2: 42.15, 80.13
- Mouse 3: 41.67, 82.17
- Mouse 4: 43.69, 83.80
- Mouse 5: 43.03, 82.52
Once you’ve found all of them, you’ll get the Old Trunk Key where you can then open up the Trunk. You can get a variety of rewards from Flightstones, Gold, and Crest Pieces or if you’re lucky, you’ll get a good piece of gear that you can use!
