If you're hoping to play a bit of the brand-new Need for Speed Unbound at a lower price, then you might wonder if the game is available on Game Pass. EA has stealthily released a brand new entry to the Need For Speed series this week in the form of Need For Speed Unbound. Featuring a hybrid art style and returning to the series' street racer roots, it's shaping to be one helluva ride. But can you play Need For Speed Unbound on Xbox Game Pass? Keep reading to find out.

Need For Speed Unbound: Is It On Game Pass?

Is Need For Speed Unbound On Game Pass

The answer to this question isn't all that simple. Technically it's possible to play Need For Speed Unbound with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. However, this is only with the 10-hour trial that comes bundled with the EA Play membership.

The 10-hour trial of Need For Speed Unbound lets players try out the game as much as they like within the allocated time limit. There is no limit on progression, so you could theoretically finish the main story in that time frame.

However, if you want to play more than just 10 hours of Need For Speed Unbound with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, that's sadly not possible. Once you've used up the 10-hour free trial, that's it.

It's likely that Need For Speed Unbound will arrive on Xbox Game Pass at a later date. EA games regularly arrive on the service anywhere from 6-12 months after their initial release. So, if you don't mind waiting a little while, it's highly likely that you'll be able to play Need For Speed Unbound with Xbox Game Pass some time in 2023.
