MW2 Vault Edition: What's Included?
The Vault Edition of Modern Warfare 2 is essentially the Digitial Deluxe version that we've known from the previous Call of Duty launches. It costs an additional $30 (£25) on top of the normal price of MW2, so players will surely want to know if it's worth it for such a steep price increase. Here is everything that's included in the Vault Edition:
Red Team 141
Vault Edition owners can enjoy the use of four classic Operator skins that take the form of Ghost, Farah, Price, and Soap. All of them are dressed in a red and black colour scheme with a Ghost-like mask to cover their facial features.
FJX Cinder Weapon Vault
This is a universal weapon blueprint that applies to an entire weapon tree in Modern Warfare 2. Featuring a striking red and black colour scheme, it's sure to catch the eyes of others on the battlefield.
Battle Pass And 50 Tier Skips
Owners of the Vault Edition are also granted enough COD Points to purchase a single Battle Pass season and 50 tier skips. These will ensure that you're able to unlock a Battle Pass of your choice instantly and also make your way through half of the content immediately.
Ghost Legacy Pack
The Ghost Legacy pack includes over 20 legacy items themed around the character Ghost. However, it should be noted that these items are available in Modern Warfare (2019) and Warzone. They will not carry over to Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2.
Double XP Tokens
The Vault Edition also includes 10 hours of Double Weapon XP tokens as well as 10 hours of Double XP tokens. These can be used while playing the multiplayer mode in Modern Warfare 2.
Is The MW2 Vault Edition Worth It?
Ultimately, it's up to each individual player if they think that the Modern Warfare 2 Vault Edition is worth it for them. It certainly includes plenty of additional digital content for players to enjoy. In addition, the total amount of content would likely cost more individually than the $30 premium that Activision is asking for with the Vault Edition. If you're someone who likes to get ahead in the multiplayer and look good while doing so, then it's likely that the Modern Warfare 2 Vault Edition will be worth it for you.
