MW2 Nuke: How To Get MGB Nuke Killstreak
We weren't sure if MW2 would have a Nuke, as during the beta earlier in the year, players discovered there was no bonus for getting a killstreak of 30. However, it appears that Infinity Ward was just hiding this for the full launch, as players have already discovered that the MW2 Nuke exists, and it's as powerful as you'd expect.
The MW2 Nuke is a hidden killstreak, meaning you don't need to select it when creating your class, and it's unlocked after you get 30 kills without dying. Once it's unlocked, you will get an on-screen alert, allowing you to call it in. In this game, it's called an MGB (Mass Guided Bombs), but it functions exactly like the Nuke from the original MW2. Once you call it in, a 10-second timer appears at the top of the screen warning that there's an "MGB inbound," and then it wipes out every player on the map and ends the game early.
This makes it a powerful tool for turning the tide of a game, as even if you're losing, one player on your team getting an MGB can earn you an automatic victory. You'll need to be quite skilled at COD to try this, but if you manage to get one, you'll have bragging rights within your friend group.
That's all for our primer on how to get the MW2 Nuke and call in the MGB killstreak, and now you should be able to attempt getting one yourself in multiplayer.
