Are you stuck deciding on which Minecraft Legends difficulty setting to select? One of the hardest parts of starting a game like Minecraft Legends is choosing what difficulty to use for your first playthrough. So, whether you're new to the genre or a seasoned vet, let's review all the Minecraft Legends difficulty settings.

Minecraft Legends difficulty settings: Storied

Storied is the easiest difficulty setting in Minecraft Legends. If you're new to the action strategy genre, you may want to consider starting on Storied until you get the hang of things. Playing the game on this difficulty setting will allow you to experience the campaign and explore the world of Minecraft Legends without ever confronting an enemy you can't defeat.

Minecraft Legends difficulty settings: Fabled

Fabled is the default "normal" difficulty setting for Minecraft Legends. While enemies on Storied are complete pushovers, you'll need to incorporate at least a little bit of strategy to progress on Fabled.

If you're stuck deciding which difficulty setting to choose, Fabled is an excellent option. It's easy enough in the beginning for players new to the genre, but it ramps up a bit in the later stages and will force you to use what you've learned in the meantime to ultimately succeed.

Minecraft Legends difficulty settings: Mythic

Mythic is a step up from Fabled and geared toward players with prior experience in games like Minecraft Legends. To defeat the souped-up enemies on Mythic, you will need to take full advantage of the resources and units at your disposal.

If you opt to play Minecraft Legends with a buddy in co-op, Mythic might be worth considering for your first playthrough. With a friend by your side, Mythic is a rewarding experience that'll challenge you but is more than doable with some communication and strategy.

Minecraft Legends difficulty settings: Legendary

Legendary is the ultimate Minecraft Legends difficulty setting. Unless you're seasoned at action strategy games, you will want to save this difficulty setting for your second playthrough of Minecraft Legends.

Legendary will test your mastery of everything Minecraft Legends and really put your brain to the test!

Remember, you can change your Minecraft Legends difficulty setting at any point, so if things seem too easy or challenging, simply open your settings and swap the difficulty level!
