How stats work in Lords of the Fallen
Here is everything you need to know about the different attributes and stats in Lords of the Fallen, as well as how to respec in the latest RPG from CI Games.
When you first fire up Lords of the Fallen, it may take a while to get into the groove of what all of the different stats mean and how those attributes work in-game. Even if you played the original entry, you may need a bit of a refresher - particularly as they've seen a bit of a mix-up this time around.
From the moment the game begins, it's crucial to have an understanding of all of the attribute meanings so you can be sure you’re choosing the perfect class for your journey, as each stat will feed into how you play, as well as what equipment and weapons you can use.
Below, we'll rundown everything there is to know about all of Lords of the Fallen's stats and attributes and how you can respec them if you need a bit of a change - so let's get into it.
How do stats work in Lords of the Fallen?
Lords of the Fallen has six different stats in total to manage whilst you’re leveling up your character:
- Agility
- Endurance
- Inferno
- Radiance
- Strength
- Vitality
As you earn more Vigor in the world by beating enemies and bosses, you will be able to level up at the different Vestiges (checkpoints) dotted throughout the world.
To shape your character the way you want, you will likely end up focusing your stats more in some regions than in others - especially if you find a weapon you want to use but require one stat in particular.

Agility
In Lords of the Fallen, the agility stat focuses on how much damage you can do but with different weapons.
Whereas Strength allows you to wield the biggest weapons in the game, Agility will keep you nimble, allowing you to do plenty of damage by being much faster than your opponent. Weapons like daggers and smaller swords will be where you excel if you choose to focus on Agility.
Endurance
It doesn’t matter how you choose to play Lords of the Fallen or what type of character you try to create, you will want to make sure your Endurance stat is nice and high.
Every time you sprint, dodge, roll, or attack it will soak up your stamina - and upgrading Endurance is the only way to ensure you have more of it. Whether you want to focus on Agility, Strength, or even magic, they will all use your stamina for attacks, so be sure to regularly improve this attribute whenever you can.
Inferno
As the name suggests, the Inferno stat is for those who love fire magic. While it's pretty explanatory in itself, certain weapons throughout the game will also scale with the Inferno attribute, and you can learn a variety of different spells throughout your playthrough if you're looking to lean into this firey playstyle.
Radiance
Alongside Inferno, there's another kind of magic that you can do in Lords of the Fallen: Radiance.
Far removed from the heat of Inferno magic, Radiance is based on Holy damage, with some weapons scaling with Radiance as well as either Strength or Agility. You'll also be able to learn Holy magic spells, which include being able to heal yourself with your magic and different ranged abilities.
Strength
If you want to be as tanky as possible, the Strength stat is where you'll want to spend your Vigor in Lords of the Fallen.
By focusing on this attribute, you will be able to deliver huge amounts of damage, whilst wielding some of the very biggest weapons the game has to offer. What's more, Strength combines well with having a high Endurance stat so you can go toe-to-toe with various monsters of Lords of the Fallen.
Vitality
Levelling up your Vitality in Lords of the Fallen will make your health bar bigger, as well as improve your resistance to the variety of different effects enemies can have in the game. Much like Endurance, Vitality is also a crucial stat to level up, regardless of your class or what kind of build you’re going for.

How to respec stats in Lords of the Fallen
The only way you can respec your stats in Lords of the Fallen is by chatting with Pieta at Skyrest Bridge. To respec your stats you will need a Rebirth Chrysalis - an extremely rare item in the game.
You can get one from Molhu, but it will cost you 8,000 Vigor and they only have one. Otherwise, you will have to wait until you find one in the world, so use them sparingly and make sure you’re certain before doing so.
That is all there is to know about the different stats and attributes in Lords of the Fallen. If you need some help with upgrading your healing items or how to use Vestige Seeds we have you covered. For more guides, check out our Lords of the Fallen homepage.
