Is there a 'No Russian' mission in CoD Modern Warfare 3?
No Russian is one of the most controversial missions in the history of Call of Duty, so as expected, fans are wondering whether Modern Warfare 3 has a similar chapter.
Appearing all the way back in Modern Warfare 2 (2009), 'No Russian' is the most controversial mission in the entire Call of Duty franchise and potentially, gaming as a whole.
This shocking section had you perform a terrorist attack on an airport alongside Makarov, killing hundreds of innocent people. As it's synonymous with the Modern Warfare series, a lot of fans wondered whether a 'No Russian' style mission would appear in MW3.
Well, now the Modern Warfare 3 campaign has released, we finally have our answer. So, let's check out whether MW3 and MW2 have a 'No Russian' mission.

Does MW3 have a 'No Russian' mission?
Yes, Modern Warfare 3 does have a 'No Russian' style mission called Passenger, which is the sixth chapter in the MW3 campaign.
In the mission, you are a passenger on a plane who fought against the Russians for the ULF a long time ago. The person next to you admits he's a terrorist and forces you to help him with the hijacking. While you manage to disarm him, take him out, and kill a few more of the other hijackers, you're eventually knocked out and brought to the front of the plane.
Here, Makarov straps a bomb to your chest and reveals he's framing Urzikstan for a terrorist attack on a plane filled with Russians.
They then toss you into the main section of the plane filled with passengers who immediately panic. By that time, Makarov and his men have already parachuted out of the plane. The bomb then explodes, killing all passengers on board.
Is there a 'No Russian' mission in MW2?
No, MW2 (2022) didn't have a 'No Russian' style mission, but the post-credit scene did act as a setup for the Passenger mission in MW3.
At the end of MW2, we see the terrorist sitting next to us in MW3 receive the text message saying "No Russian," teasing fans for the plane section in MW3.
