How To Get Fiber In ARK Survival Evolved
Fiber can be harvested from the majority of plants in the game by interacting with them by hand, so just exploring and harvesting plants continuously will net you a decent amount of Fiber. There are better ways to earn it as you level up though. After reaching level 30, the Metal Sickle is the best way to harvest Fiber, as it you can get more out of each plant.
Some creatures are also designed well for harvesting Fiber, such as Dire Bears, Gachas, Therizinosaurs, which have the same effectiveness as the Metal Sickle per plant. The best choice is to tame a Gigantopithecus once you reach level 30, which can automatically harvest Fiber when nearby to a plant. The Castoroides, Ravager, Thorny Dragon creatures can also reduce the weight of Fiber when carrying it by 50%, making them great for Fiber storage.
