How to start & complete the Fired quest in Honkai: Star Rail

In Honkai: Star Rail, you’ll be traveling from planet to planet to complete an assortment of epic quests. One of these missions is Fired. While it may seem like you’re going to be playing traffic warden, you’ll be spending more time playing amateur sleuth in the game instead.

How to access the Fired quest
To access the Fired quest, you’ll first need to reach Xianzhou Luofu. Once you’re there head on over to the Central Starskiff Haven where, after crossing a bridge, you’ll meet a character called Tantan.
With Tantan, you’ll be able to start the quest. He needs help monitoring the passing Starskiffs in the area. But this mission is a lot more than being a glorified traffic warden.

Fired quest Answers
To complete the Fired quest, there are several actions you’ll need to perform:
- First, Tantan will ask you how many white passenger Starskiffs went past. The answer here is 3.
- While conducting your tests, you’ll be involved in an accident. It’s time to spring into action to figure out the cause. In doing so, you’ll be asked by a character called Mei to find all of her scattered notes.
- Next, you’ll be heading back to Starskiff Haven to talk to a character called Luhui, after which, you’ll be able to give Mei her notes back.
- The next question you’ll need to answer is: ‘Which is the offending Starskiff in this picture?’. The answer is the third from the left.
- Head over to Stargazer Nevalia to discuss this further with Tantan. There, you’ll see a Proud Man lurking about.
- Shocker, he is responsible for the accident, and it is time to confront him. When asked which item of evidence to spring on him, be sure to show him the photo of the Starskiff.
- Now that he has nowhere to run, he’ll attempt to fight you instead. Defeat his enemies to have him be escorted away by Tantan.
Fired quest rewards
With the mission coming to a close, you’ll simply need to report back to Mei and Luhui, and your time as an amateur detective will come to an end.
For completing this quest, you’ll be rewarded with:
- 250 Trailblaze EXP
- 40 Stellar Jades
- 1 Refined Aether
- 25 Strales
- 15,000 Credits
