Hogwarts Legacy Solved by the Bell: Walkthrough and Puzzle
Starting the Solved by the Bell Walkthrough
The most difficult part of getting to and solving the Hogwarts Legacy Solved by the Bell puzzle is actually starting the quest itself. Very far away from Hogwarts and Hogsmeade across the map, early players will need to wait until they've at least gotten a broomstick.
To start the Hogwarts Legacy Solved by the Bell quest, you'll need to travel to Henrietta's Hideaway - located in the most southern part of the World Map as shown above. Once there, you'll be facing several Ashwinders between Level 27 and Level 37 throughout the quest. So, be sure you've levelled appropriately.
Afterwards, follow the Henrietta's Hideaway market down some steps near the Merlin Trial, and enter some double doors. Now, you'll need to proceed through the Hideaway - solving some small puzzles and defeating more enemies along the way - until you retrieve a certain musical map.
As you proceed through Henrietta's Hideaway, there is just a few things to keep in mind:
1) Use Accio to move the cubes onto the platforms, then Incendio and Glacious on each cube, respectively.
2) When you come across a shifting floor that won't let you pass, cast Arresto Momentum to slow it down.
3) In the final room where you can't access the end quest marker, you need to stand in front of the hidden wall on the right side by the said marker.
Now, you'll have the Musical Map to hand. The Solved by the Bell quest will update and you need to go to the secret location to get some treasure.

Getting to the Solved by the Bell Puzzle
To solve the Solved by the Bell Puzzle, you first need to go the Clagmar Castle. Thankfully, it's not too far from Henrietta's Hideaway, as shown in the image above.
There, you'll find plenty of other high-levelled Ashwinders you'll need to kill first. If you're lower than Level 30, it is recommended to perform stealth kills - casting Disillusionment then Petrificus Totallus - to at least thin out the herd if not to defeat all of them if you can.
Next, if you can't spot them already, cast Revelio to find the bells and proceed up the steps to stand in front of them.
Solving the Solved by the Bell Puzzle
To complete the Hogwarts Legacy Solved by the Bell puzzle, you need to hit specific bells with a Basic Cast in the following order:
- Bottom right
- Left side, third down
- Left side, second down
- Right side, second down
- Left side, third down
- Left side, top
- Right side, top
- Right side, second down
If successful, without going into spoilers - you'll hear a particular song which you'll instantly recognise if you're a longtime fan of the Wizarding World franchise. Then, you'll get a Treasure-Seeker's Longcoat appearance and 400 gold in the chest next to you, along with 180XP, and Solved by the Bell is complete.
