As you progress through the Valhalla DLC for God of War Ragnarok, you'll quickly realise how important the health and rage stats are to your survival. Upgrading them is vital to make it all the way through, so you'll need to know how.

How to upgrade Health and Rage in Valhalla

You can upgrade your health and rage permanently by using the Tablet of Reflection in The Shores of Valhalla. You can see a picture of one below.

You'll need specific amounts of Mastery Seals to upgrade these stats, which you earn from opening chests, breaking vases, defeating enemies and completing certain challenges.

If you have enough Mastery Seals, you can upgrade your Health and Rage a few levels as well.

Increasing your Health and Rage levels are crucial as you progress through the story of Valhalla. You'll be facing stronger and more powerful enemies as you progress, so having a great amount of both will be necessary to defeat them.

How to recover Health and Rage

To recover your health and rage, look out for the Tablets of Endeavor in various locations around Valhalla.

When you approach them, you'll have the ability to buy health and rage bursts that will restore certain amounts of these two stats.

Additionally, you can find one or two green orbs in combat areas to restore health, while to restore rage, you'll need to defeat enemies.

You can also find certain chests which contain perks and abilities that help in health and rage restoration. As you progress, you'll also be able to buy Resurrection Stones that can restore your health a little bit.
