Lots of trainers have been wondering how to evolve Galarian Slowpoke in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet so they can add the regional forms of Slowbro and Slowking to their Blueberry Pokedex in The Indigo Disk.

Unlike the original Kanto version, which evolves into Slowbro simply by levelling up, the Galarian variant requires a different method. So, let's get into how to evolve Galarian Slowpoke in the game

How to evolve Galarian Slowpoke in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To evolve Galarian Slowpoke in Scarlet & Violet, you'll need to exchange Galarcia Twigs for one of two special evolution items: either a Galarcia Cuff for Slowbro or a Galarica Wreath for Slowking.

How to get a Galarica Wreath and Galarica Cuff

In Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC, you can get the Galarica Wreath and Cuff from the NPC at the Coastal Plaza shown in the image above - in exchange for fifteen and eight Galarica Twigs respectively.

Where to find Galarica Twigs

To gather more Galarica Twigs so you can get your Wreath or Cuff to evolve your Galarian Slowpoke, you simply need to head to the beach right behind the Coastal Plaza. Amongst the beach's abundance of Galarian Slowpoke and other Pokemon, you'll find a handful of Galarica Twigs as yellow sparkles.

As you'll only find seven to eight Galarica Twigs at a time, you'll need at least a couple of beaches worth to have enough to get a Galarica Wreath. I found it took at least 30 minutes of in-game time for the Galarica Twigs to respawn, even if I fast-travelled back and forth to different locations, so you might need to be patient.
