The Fortnite patch 26.30 is here, bringing Fortnitemares back to the game in time for the spooky season. Fortnite loves a seasonal event and there are few better times in the year to get festive than Halloween.

Patch 26.30 rings in the annual Fortnitemares event, bringing with it some new horror-themed skins, new weapons, and some spooky changes to the game. Here is everything you need to know about the Fortnite patch 26.30 and the Fortnitemares event patch notes.

When will Fortnitemares be available?

Fortnitemares launches alongside patch 26.30, which as of writing is now live in the game.

If you have not yet, you should make sure Fortnite is updated on your console or PC to get your hands on the new content.

For the most part, this should happen automatically when you launch the game, but if not you might just need to manually update the game. On PS4/PS5, you can do this by pressing the Menu button with Fortnite selected on the home screen and choosing Check for Update.

Xbox players can go to their games and apps menu, scroll down to Manage, then select Updates to see any games that need to be updated in their library. PC is even more straightforward, just open the Epic Games Store app, go to your Library, and click on Fortnite.
