If you're looking for a way to play as Optimus Prime in Fortnite, then your search is over. Despite this awesome collaboration for Chapter 4 Season 3 of the game, Epic won't give you access to the exclusive characters right away, which is why you need to unlock it first.
Thankfully, this guide will tell you all you need to know.
How to unlock the Optimus Prime skin
To unlock the Optimus Prime in Fortnite, you need to level up your Battle Pass and reach Level 94. Then, you need to spend 9 Battle Stars on the Optimus Prime skin. Battle Stars are earned by completing quests and levelling up.
Optimus Prime is the main attraction of the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks or is included in the Fortnite Crew subscription. The Battle Pass gives you access to various cosmetics, such as skins, emotes, gliders, pickaxes, and more.
Skin styles
The skin comes with different styles that you can choose from:
- The default style is his classic design from the Transformers movies and cartoons
- The Battle Tested style gives him a more rugged and damaged look as if he has been through many battles.
You can switch between these styles in your locker.
Another skin from the Transformers world is Optimus Primal, which is the wild side of Optimus Prime. He can morph into a powerful gorilla instead of a bulky truck.
The outfit belongs to the Rise of the Beasts collection, which is based on the upcoming Transformers film with the same title.
