If you've had a look at the challenges this week then you might be wondering how to get 3 seconds of air time in a land vehicle.
While this particular Fortnite challenge might seem straightforward at first glance, it can actually get quite difficult to get that much hang time. So, keep reading below to find out how you can complete this challenge.
How do you get 3 seconds of air time in a land vehicle?
As mentioned, it is actually quite deceptive how high you need to be to achieve three whole seconds of airtime. Either you need to be at the top of a really high structure or find a really convenient drop.
There isn't exactly a single spot on the map that will guarantee you this, but there are a couple of locations that you can use to hopefully get the air time you require. Additionally, you will want to make use of the buildable ramp to gain even more height, as that will further guarantee your extended hang time.
Heading to the gas station in the green section on the northeast of the map is considered the best place to get this challenge done. Not only are there a handful of land vehicles already there for you to choose from, but it also has a drop that will help you get your air time.
Build a tall ramp on the hill just to the south of the gas station, and then drive one of the vehicles up and over it. This should hopefully get you the hang time you need and thus complete the challenge.
If you need materials to build the ramp in the first place too, there are thankfully a number of trees around that you can use to salvage some wood.
