Chrome appears to be the big thing for this season of Fortnite - it’s everywhere! Buildings are covered in it, guns are shooting it, and grenades are even turning you into it. Overall, it can be a lot to get your head around, and if all this wasn’t enough, Fortnite is now throwing in quests related to it.
One of the recently added quests tasks players to drive three different chrome vehicles. You may have spent your time searching the island for said vehicles and ended up banging your head up against the wall trying to find one. Luckily, the solution is much, MUCH easier than you probably think.

Where To Find Chrome Vehicles In Fortnite
If you’ve been scouring the island for a Chrome vehicle, you’ve most likely been out of luck. Unless you see another player driving one, you’re not going to find one. There’s a variety of different vehicles in Fortnite ranging from sports cars to trucks, and you’re going to need three different vehicles to complete this quest.
The answer to finding a Chrome version of a vehicle will actually require you to make one, and it couldn’t be simpler. One of the latest additions to Season 3 Chapter 4 of Fortnite is the inclusion of Chrome Splashes, which are grenades that hold the ability to turn you or anyone else into a Chrome jelly.
With these in hand, you can throw them at vehicles and turn them into Chrome versions of their original counterpart. Once you’ve painted the vehicle you want to drive with one of the grenades, simply get inside, drive around for a bit, and you’ll have marked one off your quest.
It’s important to note that the three vehicles you drive must be different from one another. They’re relatively easy to find as they’re scattered around the map, but if you are struggling, simply travel to the nearest gas station, and you’ll more than likely find one or two hanging around nearby.
