One of the latest weekly challenges in Fortnite asks you to slide for 30 meters continuously on ice without stopping.

While this seems like an easy ask, there are actually very few places where you can pull off this challenge, so it might leave many feeling stumped.

Where can you slide 30 meters continuously on ice

To start this challenge, you need to head to the large frozen lake to the West of Brutal Bastion, North East of Anvil Square. It has three small islands in the middle and is the largest frozen lake on the map, so it's hard to miss.

You can drop here at the start of the game, but this area can be rather busy at the start of a match. It might be worth dropping somewhere nearby and heading to the lake later in a match if you're worried about running into other hostile players.

Once you've arrived at the frozen lake, the rest of this challenge is simple. Ensure that you have a good stretch of ice in front of you by starting your slide at the edge of the lake.

Then, get a good run-up to build some speed before pressing the crouch button to enter into a slide. This will see you sail across the surface of the lake at high speed.

However, to slide 30m on ice, you must ensure that you keep still after you finish sliding. Your slide won't last forever, and eventually, you'll need to stand up. Once this happens, it's crucial that you don't move your character anywhere.

If you keep still, your character will continue to slide in a single direction along the ice. Eventually, you'll see the challenge completed notification in the corner of your screen. That's how you know that the 'Slide 30m on ice' challenge is completed.
