The Island underwent some significant changes when Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 kicked off. Most notably, it gained a jungle/tropical biome.

In this new biome, players will discover cacti, palm trees, and maybe even an active volcano! Also, select spots on the Island will be covered in mud, which will induce a slow effect if you walk through it.

You'll even find new Jungle Vaults.
