Since the launch on December 4th, the entirely new Fortnite map has had winning reviews. It's arguably one of Fortnite’s biggest changes in a new Chapter - the whole map is brand new, and there's new loot and weapons, new fortresses, and hidden easter eggs.
You can now even take over entire areas of the map for additional loot. But the map and loot aren’t the only huge wins, it’s the new skins. Here's how to unlock the Doom Slayer skin in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.
How to get the Doom Slayer skin
For those that don’t know, Doom Slayer is a classic legend in the Fortnite world, and well-known in the first-person shooter community. Wearing Phobos armour and a matching helmet, the Doom Slayer is the most seasoned skin, taken for the classic Bethesda game, DOOM. It really is an iconic skin to run through the map with.
Alongside the skin, Doom Slayer comes with an emote. It shows a short animation of him hugging a smaller replica of himself. It also comes with a spray wall animation, soundtrack, and the Crucible Sword.
Doom Slayer is only available when you reach level 26 in Battle Pass. The skin is not accessible in the Item Store or in Creative Mode. Once purchased for 9 Battle stars, you can instantly equip.
He comes in three different suit styles: gold, white and black. The mighty Crucible sword comes with four different styles to customize to any player’s taste.
Simply head to the Locker Outfit tab once you have purchased and flick through the multiple different styles. Doom Slayer is also a Legendary tier skin, meaning not only can you stand out in the game, but you have one of the strongest and most dangerous skins in Fortnite.
Doom Slayer is available now for gamers who hold a Battle Pass. So, level up and get your skin now!
