The Anvil Rocket Launcher has returned to Fortnite as part of the latest update to the game, so here's everything you need to know including where to get the weapon and how to use it.
After first being introduced in Chapter 3: Season 2 and vaulted a season later, the Anvil Rocket Launcher is back. This powerful weapon can absolutely destroy vehicles, so it's a great addition to your loadout - that is, if you're able to find one.
Where to find the Anvil Rocket Launcher
The Anvil Rocket Launcher is quite a rare weapon, so you'll be lucky to find one, but your best bet will be searching inside Rare Chests. These are the glowing chests that have a blue and silver colour scheme.
You'll be guaranteed to find one of these Rare Chests inside the hidden Vaults that are located around the map. These Vaults house plenty of good loot to get your hands on, so they're always worth a visit.
How to use the Anvil Rocket Launcher
If you want to do significant damage against vehicles then this is the best use case for the weapon. If you aim the weapon at a vehicle, the bar will then fill up beneath where you’re aiming. Once it's full, simply fire and it will track down the vehicle.
This is not a very useful weapon in confined spaces or if you want to get a shot off quickly because it takes a few seconds to lock on to your target, so it's best to keep it as a backup weapon for when you spot a car driving by in the distance.
