Whilst playing Football Manager 2024, once you’re fully in a match, there’s a chance you will want to increase the highlight speed, make the game run along a bit faster, and add some more excitement. This is especially useful if you watch a lot of the highlights.

So, here's everything you need to know about increasing your highlight speed in the game, as well as what you need to do to change your highlights in FM24.

Changing your highlight speed in FM24 is incredibly simple, but if it's been a while since you’ve played it can be hard to find. Speeding up your highlights can get you through games a bit quicker.

The easiest way to change the highlight speed is shown below: 

  • Go into a match 
  • Select the cog in the top right of the screen 
  • There is a slider with Match Speed During Highlights
  • You can move this left to slow them down and right to speed them up

How to change highlight type 

Here is where you can also change how extensive you want your highlights to be. Above the Match Speed slider, there is a drop-down letting you choose your highlights. They range from: 

  • Full Match 
  • Comprehensive 
  • Extended 
  • Key 
  • Only Commentary
