Escape From Tarkov Chemical Part 1 Quest Details

The Escape From Tarkov Chemical Part 1 quest is a bit confusing mainly due to the amount of unnecessary sub-quests that it creates.

The main objective of the Escape From Tarkov Chemical Part 1 quest is to obtain information about the Deputy Chief’s past life on the Escape From Tarkov Customs map, and hand that over to Skier.

The aim of the other subtasks is to give you the whereabouts of this information, as the quest info is rather vague on specifics as usual. Because you are following this guide, however, and we are giving you the exact location of the information, you won’t need to do any of these.

However, it is still worth accepting the Polikhim Hobo quest from Prapor that is available after taking on Chemical Part 1, as it is a good source of EXP and Prapor rep, and all you have to do is kill some scavs.

Like all collection based tasks with quest specific items, you will need to extract safely from the raid in which you pick the information up, and then immediately hand it over to Skier to complete the quest. Dying after picking up the information - regardless of whether it is in the exact raid or another one after the fact - will mean that you need to start the quest all over again.

As a reward for completing the quest, you will receive the following:

  • 15,000 Roubles
  • 4,800 EXP
  • One MSA ACH TC-2002 MICH Series helmet
  • An increase of 0.04 to your Skier rep

Keep on reading below to find out exactly where to find the information needed to complete the Escape From Tarkov Chemical Part 1 quest.

How To Complete The Escape From Tarkov Chemical Part 1 Quest

How To Complete The Escape From Tarkov Chemical Part 1 Quest

To complete the Escape From Tarkov Chemical Part 1 quest, you’ll want to head to the isolated train carriage on the boiler side of Customs between the ZB-1012 and ZB-1011 extracts.

Once inside, you’ll want to find the side with the sports bag, and then the information should be right in the bottom left corner in a crack. It will be quite difficult to actually see, and you will definitely have to go prone to be able to reach it, but it will be there to pick up if you follow these steps.

That’s all you need to pick up for the quest thankfully, so you just need to make it out of the raid safely now. If you spawned on the Crossroads side of the map then you’ll be in luck as you can just head into the ZB-1011 extract, but otherwise you’ll have to make the arduous journey to the other side.

So, that wraps up how to complete the Escape From Tarkov Chemical Part 1 quest, giving you the location of the information documents. If you’re looking for help with a Therapist quest you might be stuck on soon, make sure to check out our Escape From Tarkov Disease History quest guide.
