Since TOTY, the promos in EA FC 24 haven't slowed down in quality, with the most recent Fantasy promo continuing a hot streak of quality content. This promo was first introduced in FIFA 22 and is one of the live events where players will improve depending on how well their team performs.
Below, I’ll not only outline how the promo works but also all of the fresh cards that have been introduced into the game. Keep reading for every new card, introduced including a fresh batch of Heroes.
All players included in Fantasy promo
- Wesley Sneijder (LaLiga Hero)
- Lucio (Bundesliga Hero)
- Steve McManaman (Premier League Hero)
- Sonia Bompastor (D1 Arkema Hero)
- Ramires (Premier League Hero)
- Yaya Toure (LaLiga Hero)
- Javier Mascherano (LaLiga Hero)
- Tomas Brolin (Serie A Hero)
- Ousmane Dembele (PSG)
- Luis Diaz (Liverpool)
- Declan Rice (Arsenal)
- Vivianne Miedema (Arsenal)
- Federico Chiesa (Juventus)
- Geyse (Manchester United)
- Georgia Stanway (Bayern Munich)
- Lieke Martens (PSG)
- Yan Couto (Girona)
- Antonio Candreva (Salernitana)
- Ian Maatsen (Borussia Dortmund)
- Julie Pasquereau (Stade de Reims)
- Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt)
- Pierre Lees-Melou (Stade Brestois 29)
This second team certainly rivals the first, with huge names on both the Hero and standard player side. Both Ramires and Yaya Toure look like complete midfield that'll fit straight into any Ultimate Team XI, and I've personally got my eyes on Diaz as a Liverpool fan - especially after getting his RTTK earlier on in the year.
How the Fantasy promo works
Fantasy cards will get upgrades depending on how well their team performs during their next four matches. Every year so far, the upgrade route has differed slightly but the result is always the same and that is the player getting a few extra ratings along the way.
Here is the upgrade path for the above, non-Hero players.
- A plus one for attackers/midfielders getting a goal or assist in the next four games / for defenders this will be a clean sheet
- A plus one if the club wins two out of the next four matches
- A plus one if the player makes three appearances in the next four matches
- A plus one if the club scores 11 or more goals in the next four matches
The Hero upgrade path differs slightly because they are not currently active players, it would be unfair to expect Vincent Kompany to take to the pitch again. Here is their official upgrade path:
- A plus one if the club wins two out of the next four matches
- A plus one if the club scores 11 or more goals in the next four matches
I can't help but notice how much harder it will be for players to get upgrades this year than in the past, but you can check out our tracker to keep up to date with the cards. It also feels like a missed opportunity for the cards to not get extra PlayStyles after receiving upgrades.
