How to find & unlock Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley
This guide shares details on how you can find and unlock Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley while walking you through the Something Comes A'Knocking quest.
The Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington, is finally available in Disney Dreamlight Valley as an unlockable villager that players can befriend once they complete the Something Comes A'Knocking quest.
However, unlike the other Villager-related quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley, triggering Jack's quest requires you to collect a unique item called the Matryoshka Doll. Since the game doesn't tell you where you can find these Matryoshka Dolls and progress the Something Comes A'Knocking quest, we're here to help you.
How to find Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can find and unlock Jack Skellington in Disney Dreamlight Valley by completing the quest called Something Comes A'Knocking.
Once you do that, a short cutscene will play out where Jack spawns near the Well. You can head there and talk to him to eventually place his house and complete the quest, unlocking him as one of the Dreamlight Valley villagers.
How to start the Something Comes A'Knocking quest
To start the Something Comes A'Knocking quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must find any of the four Matryoshka Dolls. As soon as you pick one up, you will trigger the said quest with the objective being, "You've found a strange Matryoshka Doll -- where could it belong?"
Where to find all Matryoshka Dolls
The location of the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley varies for every player. Thankfully, one of the dolls always spawns around the Plaza area. So, look thoroughly and collect it to trigger the "Something Comes A'Knocking" quest.
Now, as for the location of the other three Matryoshka Dolls, you can find them in the following biomes:
- Peaceful Meadow
- Dazzle Beach
- Forest of Valor
- Glade of Trust
- Frosted Heights
- Sunlit Plateau
Note: You must have the Forgotten Lands biome unlocked, as only then will the Matryoshka Dolls start spawning around the Dream Valley.
Where do the Matryoshka Dolls belong?
Even after you collect all four Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the quest still shows the same objective, "You've found a strange Matryoshka Doll -- where could it belong?"
Since Merlin's icon appears in the quest, if you head to his location and talk to him, he will say, "Magic! I sensed something happening in the Forgotten Lands. You should examine it at once."
Head to the Forgotten Lands biome and look for a tree without any leaves and a pumpkin head inscribed on it. Go near and interact with it to open a menu where you can submit the Matryoshka Dolls.
As you submit the dolls, the colour of the pumpkin head on the tree will change. Jack will spawn at the Well in the Plaza when you submit all four Matryoshka Dolls.
