How Long To Beat
Even after launch, many players are still wondering if there is a Diablo 4 secret cow level, as previous games in the franchise have contained one or something similar, allowing players to farm a tonne of XP.
Does Diablo 4 have a secret cow level?
During an interview before launch with WoWHead, one of the developers confirmed that there is no Secret Cow Level or such thing available in Diablo 4
Furthermore, in response to a question asked to Joe Piepiora, Associate Game Director for Diablo 4, whether the game will feature a version of the Secret Cow Level, Naz Hartoonian, the associate game producer, replied, “There is no cow level,” following Piepiora’s response, “I don’t think there is a cow level?”
Since the game launched back in June 2023, players have been busy attempting to find such a level to no avail, meaning the words of the developers are correct and not an attempt to throw players off.
What is the Diablo Secret Cow Level?
For players new to the franchise, the Secret Cow Level, which was also referred to as the Moo Moo Farm by the Diablo community, was a small secret area that players could access through a portal to farm a ton of XP using Hell Bovine in Diablo 2.
Even Diablo 3 featured a similar secret level called Whimsyshire, where players could farm unicorns, flowers, and teddy bears for XP. Seeing that, the Diablo community was expecting something similar to appear in Diablo 4.
But with multiple devs saying there is no such level, for now, we can say that Diablo 4 will not feature any form of Secret Cow Level at launch.
