Exquisite Blood is one of the many items that got added to Diablo 4 with the arrival of Season of Blood. Among the new additions, the Exquisite Blood is an item you can use to summon one of the Diablo 4 end-game bosses that drops The Lidless Wall, an excellent shield for Necromancers in the game, along with other lucrative drops.
So, keep reading our guide as we explain how exactly you can get and use the Exquisite Blood in Diablo 4.
How to get Exquisite Blood
You can get Exquisite Blood from Tier IV world bosses and Legion Events that spawn around the map. The world bosses are a great way to farm Exquisite Blood, as each boss drops around three Exquisite Blood as a drop loot.
However, since there are limitations to the world boss spawn, we recommend farming the Legion Events as they are more frequent and are one of the best ways to obtain the Exquisite Blood item in Diablo 4.
That being said, the Legion Events spawn around the map every thirty minutes. The best way to tackle them is by opening your world map and looking for the Legion Gathering Event icon, represented by a stopwatch-like icon.
How to use Exquisite Blood
You can use the obtained Exquisite Blood in Diablo 4 to summon one of the new end-game bosses, Lord Zir, who also serves as the final boss of the Season of Blood questline.
To summon Lord Zir, you need nine Exquisite Blood. Once you have them, head to Fractured Peaks and make your way towards The Darkened Way. When you reach there, head inside The Ancient's Seat dungeon and place the obtained Exquisite Blood on the Bloodied Altar to summon Lord Zir.
