- Use Attunement to farm for god rolls
Luna's Howl has returned to Destiny 2 alongside Blast Furnace as part of the BRAVE Arsenal. Destiny 2's last big update before The Final Shape, called Into the Light, has brought back many of the classic weapons from the game's history.
Luna's Howl and Blast Furnace were both beasts in their heyday, making them ideal partners for the upcoming fight against the Witness. Here is how you can get your hands on them, and some god roll picks for both PvE and PvP.
How to unlock them
As with each of the previous BRAVE Arsenal weapons, the first thing you want to do is grab the associated quest from Arcite in the Hall of Champions. There is one for each of the weapons, and the quests require you to get a high number of kills with weapons of the same type. In this case, we need to get Hand Cannon and Pulse Rifle kills.
Onslaught is ideal for this, you can get random drops of both of these weapons from the activity which you can in turn use to complete the quests. If you want to complete the quests faster you might want to go for a solo activity. The Shuro-Chi encounter in The Last Wish raid is ideal for this, as you can rinse through a horde of enemies in no time there.
Random drops of Luna's Howl and Blast Furnace are where you'll want to farm for god rolls, but finishing the quests for the curated rolls is still very worth doing. The curated rolls are pretty decent, but the main reason is attunement.
Once you complete a BRAVE Arsenal weapon's quest, you can attune to it in the Hall of Champions, increasing the odds of that weapon dropping in Onslaught. You're going to want this before grinding for some god rolls.
God rolls & how to get them
Once you are attuned to a weapon, it's time to grind. Every 10 rounds of Onslaught has a boss fight, defeating that boss will drop a BRAVE Arsenal weapon. If you're up for it, Legend difficulty is great for farming as there are two drops per boss, just don't be one of those people who plays 10 rounds and then quits!
What we're really hoping for here are limited edition versions of the weapons. These shiny (literally) weapons come with double perks in the third and fourth columns, increasing our chances of getting god rolls.
Speaking of, here are our god roll picks for Luna's Howl and Blast Furnace:
