Dead Space is a demanding game per its official PC system requirements. To run the game, your system must have at least 16 GB of RAM, a Core i5 8600 or better, an AMD RX 5700, Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU or better.  

It has a relatively high minimum requirement compared to some new titles like Cyberpunk 2077. So, you need a mid to high-end PC to play Dead Space at decent FPS.

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit +
  • Processor: Ryzen 5 5600X,Core i5 11600K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • GPU: Radeon RX 6700 XT, Geforce RTX 2070
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space
  • Additional requirement: A 64-bit processor and operating system

As mentioned earlier, Dead Space has fairly high PC system requirements. Running the game on older GPUs might prove to be a daunting task. 

Nowadays, you can't rest easy just by seeing the minimum and recommended system requirements, as most next-gen titles face performance and optimization issues. 

Seeing that Dead Space recommends an RTX 2070 or better, which is a "more than decent" processing power, we would recommend you get the game only if you have a better system that the recommended requirements. 

If you're worried about performance issues, it might be best to wait it out. Once Dead Space releases, check whether it is performing well on your GPU, check out some comparison and benchmark videos, and then go for the purchase.
