Once you have picked up the Missing: Pablo quest from the missing persons reports board in Ocean Avenue, you will need to fast travel to the Blue Crab in Venice Beach.

The mission gives you two objectives to start with, tasking you with following Pablo's previous steps to find insulin needles and protein powder.

  • For the first part of our Dead Island 2 Missing: Pablo walkthrough, start by making your way out of the Blue Crab and exiting onto the street on the right side.
  • Follow this road toward the beach, and head into the Rose's Tattoos at the end of this street (marked on the map above).

  • Inside here, behind the counter, you can find the Need For Needles journal, which will tick off the first objective.
  • Make your way out of the store and head left along the storefronts, and then turn left again at the Body Modifications store next to the truck.

  • You will see a sign ahead for Venice Autos, so head inside there, defeat the zombies, and inside an office, you can find a circuit breaker.
  • Go back outside, and throw the circuit breaker over the fence opposite Venice Autos.

  • Climb the pallets on the left side of the fence and then drop down to place the circuit breaker into a breaker panel.
  • Climb back up and drop down onto the road, and to the left of the pallets you climbed, you can now open the shutter doors.

  • Head inside, and toward the front of the store you will find the Protein Please journal.

The next objective for this quest leaves things a little vague, tasking you with finding where Pablo went to next on his shopping spree. Simply put, you will need to make your way to the opposite end of Venice Beach.
