If you're unsure of how to change outfits in Dead Island 2 - as players who purchased a specific version can unlock alternate costumes for certain characters - we've got all you need to know right here.

Dead Island 2 lets players choose one of six unique Slayers to use on their journey across Los Angeles, with each having their own distinct look and innate skills that set them apart. For the most part, your choice won't matter too much - that is unless you have some alternate costumes you want to use in the game.

Currently, there is no way to change outfits in Dead Island 2, so players with Character Pack 1 and 2 will need to wait until they are released in the summer of 2023. This was confirmed in a post by the official Dead Island 2 Twitter.

While we don't know how to change your outfits in Dead Island 2 currently, it's likely that players will be able to do so from the Slayer screen in the main menu, where you can select your character.

Sadly, we can't validate exactly how this works until the alternative skins have been made available, but as soon as we know more, we'll update you right here.

It's worth noting that players who own the base version of the game won't be able to access these Dead Island 2 Character Packs upon their release, as they are only available to those who purchased the Deluxe or Gold Editions. These versions of the game include Character Pack 1 and 2, featuring the Rodeo Sunset costume for Jacob, and the Neurunner costume for Amy.

We assume that the other Slayers will receive their own costumes in the future as part of a DLC or expansion, but the developers haven't explicitly confirmed this yet.

That's it for our breakdown of outfits in Dead Island 2. Be sure to check out our Dead Island 2 homepage for all of the latest news and guides, or take a look at the best Dead Island 2 weapon mods and perks to see how to make the most of your weaponry.
