All reveals in Dead by Daylight 7th Anniversary stream: Iron Maiden & Slipknot Collections, DbD comic, more
Dead by Daylight's 7th Anniversary stream has revealed plenty to get excited about within The Entity's realm, from Iron Maiden and Slipknot Collections to a comic.
Dead by Daylight is turning 7 years old, which means that it's time for another anniversary stream jam-packed with upcoming content - so let's get into everything revealed at their birthday bash.
In true DbD style, Behaviour Interactive showcased plenty of juicy details on their way to the game for players to get excited about, including Iron Maiden and Slipknot Collections, Chapter 28, a new single-player title from Supermassive Games and much more. Oh yeah, did we mention Nicolas Cage?
Dead by Daylight Year 8 roadmap
Throughout 2023 and into 2024, there's a staggering amount of content to look forward to in Dead by Daylight's 8th year when looking at the above roadmap. During the 7th anniversary stream, everything from DbD's 28th Chapter, End Transmission, was shown, to quality-of-life improvements like a search bar for loadouts, to anti-camping improvements and a whole host of new Killers and Survivors.
Scattered throughout the year, including Chapter 28, we've got plenty of new characters to look forward to (that's a whole lot of new Perks to add to your arsenal) and four Chapters in total, the last of which is set to arrive in March 2024.
Alongside this, there's also the typical fare of in-game events peppered throughout the next year in June, August, October-November, and December of 2023, with another in January and February of 2024.

DbD Chapter 28: End Transmission
What would an anniversary stream for DbD be without a little taste of the upcoming Chapter? On June 13, 2023, End Transmission will be the 28th DLC Chapter to arrive in Dead by Daylight with a new Killer in tow, The Singularity, said in a press release to be a "monstrous amalgamation of restructured organic matter and machine parts seeking to become the perfect lifeform".
Gabriel Soma will be the latest Survivor to arrive, who is a "talented technician whose determination helped him escape The Singularity and avoid the terrible fate that befell his crew."
That's not all, though, as we're also getting a brand new map, Toba Landing, which is a "unique biome with menacing flora and an atmosphere unlike anything on Earth".

Nicolas Cage comes to Dead by Daylight
In a curve ball that absolutely no one saw coming, it was revealed on Dead by Daylight's Twitter account on May 17, 2023, that acting legend Nicolas Cage will be stepping into The Fog - as himself! While we'll have to wait until July 5 to learn more about what this means for Dead by Daylight (what will his Perks be?), the announcement alone is exciting enough as it is.

New Dead by Daylight Collections: Iron Maiden, Slipknot & Artists from The Fog
For those of you who love to use the different customisation items available to kit your Survivors and Killers out in, there's a lot on offer here in the three Collections revealed to be coming to Dead by Daylight in the future. Two of these are inspired by metal legends Iron Maiden and Slipknot, with the latter being a community-focused collaboration featuring four creators from across the Globe.
While details on precisely what players can expect to see with these collaborations remain to be seen, Behaviour Interactive has shared that the Iron Maiden Collection is said to be inspired by Eddie, the band's mascot and album artwork that it's shown up on. Meanwhile, Slipknot's Collection will add a total of nine new masks that pay tribute to the band's members.
Due to release "later this summer", The Artists from The Fog Collection features designs for two Killers and two Survivors from creators in Canada, Poland, Spain, and the United States. Ikumi Nakamura, previously Creative Director for Ghostwire: Tokyo, is also creating an additional set of Cosmetics for The Oni, The Legion, and Yui Kimura, for a total of seven new outfits.
Naughty Bear Outfit for The Trapper
The Noughties are calling, and this time it's Naughty Bear. The 2010 action-adventure title, also developed by Behaviour Interactive, is making its way into The Fog in the form of a new Outfit for The Trapper, allowing players to take the guise of the game's eponymous character.
Complete with a unique Mori - a first for an Outfit for an existing character in Dead by Daylight - fans of the game will be able to take to their next Trial as the vengeful bear. Details on just when it'll arrive remain to be seen, but this is a nostalgic ode to a memorable character from gaming history that many fans will surely be looking forward to.
Expansions to the Dead by Daylight universe
During last year's 6th Anniversary stream in DbD, the team revealed Hooked On You, a visual novel released in the summer of 2022 that's set in an alternate realm of The Entity's, featuring some of its most iconic Killers taking to the beach as they try to vy for the player's affections. Now, we've been teased two brand new games - a single-player, interactive story game from Supermassive Games of Until Dawn fame, and a multiplayer PvE title developed by Midwinter Entertainment.
The former is set to be an "intense narrative experience" that includes everything you'd expect from a Supermassive Games title, including "powerful life-or-death choices within the backdrop of Dead by Daylight", with additional details being revealed later in the year.
Information on the multiplayer title is quite slim, but what we do know is that in it, teams of up to four players are said to explore "themes of greed and lust for power" in a "strange new corner of The Entity's Realm."
Additionally, the Dead by Daylight movie also received a little nugget of an update, detailing that the Atomic Monster and Blumhouse project is underway with recruitment for a director and screenwriter.
Dead by Daylight comic book release window revealed
If you're an avid comic book collector, Issue #1 of the Dead by Daylight comic book has also been revealed in a press release to be "available at retailers and digitally in early June". While this isn't an exact date, this means that there's not much time at all to wait and see what the comic's first issue has in store for its readers.
