Scorestreaks are a vital part of Call of Duty multiplayer, and Black Ops 6 is no exception. Racking up a collection of points in a single life and then dropping them on these special equipment call-ins can completely change the tide of a battle, or completely demoralise a team that you’re already pummelling.
While Black Ops 6 isn’t quite here just yet, we've thankfully had all of the Scorestreaks confirmed ahead of launch, letting you prepare for what you'll pick.
All confirmed Scorestreaks in Black Ops 6
These are all the confirmed Scorestreaks for Black Ops 6 so far, alongside their required score:
Scorestreak | Score Needed |
Scout Pulse | 400 Score |
RC-XD | 450 Score |
UAV | 675 Score |
Counter UAV | 700 Score |
Watchdog Helo | 1,100 Score |
Hellstorm | 1,200 Score |
Interceptors | 1,250 Score |
Chopper Gunner | 1,600 Score |
That in total makes eight different Scorestreaks available to players at the start of Black Ops 6, with more likely to come down the line.
Chopper Gunner is currently the highest, and therefore best, Scorestreak that you'll be able to earn at launch, requiring 1,600 Score overall. As a series staple, it's renowned for its devastating power, so hopefully it's just as strong in this Gulf War setting.
Other fan favourites such as the UAV, Counter UAV, and pesky RC-XD return too, giving plenty of familiarity to work yourself towards. New additions like the Interceptors allow you to bring a barrage of fighter jets into the map, and it'll be intriguing to measure their strength post-launch.
We're still missing some expected Scorestreaks like the infamous Nuke, but they could be currently held back as additional content drops once the Seasons start rolling around.
Does Black Ops 6 use Scorestreaks or Killstreaks?
You might have guessed from the rest of this guide, but Black Ops 6 seems to be returning to using Scorestreaks rather than Killstreaks. This means that everything you do to earn points in a life will count towards earning a Scorestreak - not just kills.
Personally, I’m a big fan of Scorestreaks, as they reward players who actually play the objective in multiplayer matches, rather than selfishly hunt for kills. Some recent Call of Duty games, like Modern Warfare 3, let you choose which type of streak you’d like to use - and I always pick Scorestreak, every time.
Scorestreaks first debuted in a Black Ops game, so Treyarch will likely be clamping down on forcing players to prioritise Score over Kills in its new game once again.
This guide is a work in progress. We will update it as we learn more about the game.
