Razer is one of the biggest gaming hardware brands out there, and they're known especially for their wide catalogue of mice. If you're looking for the best Razer mouse in 2024 then you're in the right place, as I've laid out all of the options you should consider below.

Best budget Razer mice

Razer DeathAdder Essential

Buy for $20.97 (Amazon)

There are few greater options when it comes to gaming mice at this price point than the Razer DeathAdder Essential - and it's perfect if you're looking for something simple yet effective.

Essential is definitely the right way to describe it too, as it boils the gaming mouse down to the basics while still providing a quality product.

You're 'only' getting a 6400 DPI sensor, 'only' getting five programmable buttons, and it's 'only' wired - but you can't ask for much more at just $20.

It's also got a more curved and ergonomic shape than the typical pebble-style medium mice that dominate the current market, which will definitely be preferable to some.

Razer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed

Buy for $44.99 (Amazon)

If you want a step up from the DeathAdder Essential then the DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed is certainly that.

The biggest noticeable jump here is the shift from a wired design to a wireless one, which is one of the biggest enhancements anyone can make to their mouse. If you've never made the jump before then I'd wholeheartedly recommend it, as it's nearly impossible to go back afterwards.

On top of this, you're also getting a 14,000 DPI sensor for greater accuracy and precision, an additional two programmable buttons, and enhanced mechanical switches.

It is still quite hefty compared to more expensive mice, coming in at around 104g, but that's a sacrifice that you'll have to make if you want all of the above features at such a great price point.

Razer Viper V3

Buy for $59.99 (Amazon)

If you want the iconic Viper shape but without the Viper Pro price then I'd definitely recommend going for the Razer Viper V3 - or simply buying the Pro V1/V2 secondhand.

This comes with a 30,000 DPI sensor, eight programmable buttons, and the incredibly ergonomic shape of the Viper series that has remained super popular.

Much like the DeathAdder V2 HyperSpeed though the main thing you're sacrificing here is weight, as it's quite a bit heavier than the Viper Pro across all of its iterations.

What you do gain with this though is a dramatically increased battery life of up to 280 hours, but if you're a keen competitive gamer then I'd maybe consider some of the higher-end options.

Best high-end Razer mice

Razer Viper V3 Pro

Buy for $154.99 (Amazon)

There's no doubt that the Viper Pro line has been Razer's flagship mouse ever since its initial release, and it has reached its third iteration just this year for a reason.

It features Razer's best-in-class 35,000 DPI sensor, up to 8,000Hz polling, eight programmable buttons, Gen-3 optical switches, and the same incredibly ergonomic and comfortable shape that has proved successful.

What's most impressive about the Viper V3 Pro though is how light it is, coming in at just 54g. This gives you a huge competitive edge in your favourite FPS and MOBA titles, and it's no surprise that this mouse is the most popular among VALORANT professional players.

Razer Naga V2 Pro

Buy for $179.00 (Amazon)

Our final pick for the best Razer mouse is the Razer Naga V2 Pro. The Naga is another pricey peripheral, but it's designed to suit a specific niche for MMO, MOBA, or RTS fans thanks to the highly customisable side plates that allow you to use up to 12 programmable buttons.

This gives you quick and convenient access to a wide variety of actions, letting you place various skills, inputs, or even macros to an easy-to-reach button.

It also features the same brilliant Gen-3 optical switches that appear in the Viper Pro, which ensure that you'll never run into double-clicking or debounce delay when playing.

If those types of experiences are right up your alley, and you have the money to spend, it may be worth elevating your game with a Naga V2.
